The scholarship is a tribute to Henderson ROTC graduates who died while serving their country during the Vietnam War.

Neil Simon's Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning play, set in 1942 Yonkers, New York, centers around two young brothers who live with their grandmother and their mentally challenged aunt while their recently widowed father travels, working to pay off a debt.

Henderson State's Russell Fine Arts Gallery has four shows scheduled for the fall semester, beginning Aug. 27.

Henderson State University President Glen Jones announced he will resign as president, effective immediately. Jones has served as university president since March 2012.

Clawson credits his high school basketball coach, Henderson graduate Jim Atwell, for choosing to attend Henderson. "Coach Atwell was the gentleman who taught me how to tape an ankle."
