Jessica Childs, a communication major at Henderson, just started her new job as assistant news director for a Tulsa, Oklahoma, television station.

Henry Torres is the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Information Technology Systems and Chief Information Officer at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. He earned his MBA at Henderson.

Dr. Nita Unruh, who majored in recreation management, is a full professor and department chair of the Kinesiology and Sport Sciences Department at the University of Nebraska-Kearney.

Dr. Brandon Thurston serves as chancellor of a pre-k through 5th-grade elementary campus of about 350 students in the Midland Independent School District in Texas.

My family has been going to Henderson since the early 1930s. My grandfather, Olin (Nunny) Hardman, played Reddie football, and my grandmother, Virginia Louise Pilkington, majored in Education and was salutatorian of her class. Numerous uncles, aunts and cousins also graduated from HSU over the years. It’s a proud family tradition.

Llewellyn Terry received his Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Henderson State in 2016. He is pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Arkadelphia.
