Derrick and Jessica are owners and CEOs of Mobile Video Game Station and Teddy Bear Mobile in Little Rock. Jessica is also a teacher.
Distinguished Alumni awards were presented Feb. 15 to Eugene “Gene” Simonson, Don Ruggles, and Kinney Black. Ralph Edward “RJ” Taylor II received the “H” Award, and the Young Alumni Award was presented to Dallas Hardison.
Jonathan Moss graduated from Henderson State in 2001 with a degree in aviation. He is currently manager of the Federal Aviation Administration Flight Standards District Office in Little Rock.
Larry Jefferson, also known as "Santa Larry," has been portraying Santa Claus for 20 years across the U.S. He graduated from Henderson in 1988 with a degree in sociology. Jefferson is also a retired U.S. Army captain.
Wallace enjoyed a long career at Henderson as a tennis player, teacher, and coach. Living in Arkadelphia, she still attends various events on campus.
Buendia, who majored in communication, works for an online cloud technology designing experiences between humans and computers.
