Our program is based upon guidelines from the Joint Task Force on Computing Curricula of the IEEE Computer Society and the Association for Computing Machinery. We regularly review and adapt the curriculum to ensure that it not only continues to satisfy these guidelines, but also meet the needs of the students and the organizations of which they will be part.
Students in the program will:
- Design and implement software
- Develop effective solutions for computing problems
- Devise new ways of using computers and computing technology
Successful computer science graduates have a variety of career paths, including application/system programmers, systems analysts, software engineers, database administrators, and network administrators.
